Unlearning

A few words on poetry, polarity, and online courses

A few months ago we collaborated with Charles Eisenstein to create a conversational course.

The thing is most courses are one way streets.

There’s the expert and the learner.

But that’s just not how life is.

Life is complex. We are constantly engaging with others and learning from each other. How can an online course reflect this reality?

Charles’s program is called Unlearning. It’s all about how we deconstruct our default orientation to what’s going on in the world.

We had over 800 people engage in the course asynchronously from all over the world.

The power of our conversational course format is the way that it combines group process with AI in an entirely self paced learning experience.

What makes this course magical is the deep sharing of each person who participated.

It’s one thing to have a thought leader direct your attention to something. It’s another to read the lived experience of real people sharing their personal experience.

The course is based on a gift model and you can check it out for free if you want to. Here’s the link: https://unlearning.sutra.co

If you really knew me, you’d know that one of my hobbies is spoken word poetry. Charles’s work inspired me to put together a little piece on the nature of unlearning. Enjoy.
